DETAILED COURSE CURRICULUM

SHLOKAS / MANTRAS / BHAJANS

One of the highlights of the Bal-Mukund curriculum is reciting and chanting Shlokas, Prayers, and Bhajans, along with their translations, to enhance the understanding amongst children. 
Chanting shlokas has multiple benefits for kids, including bolstering memory power, strengthening positive thinking, shaping cognitive abilities, assisting in stress and anger management, and enhancing spiritual quotient in the children.

YOGASANS / PRANAYAM / MEDITATION

Bal-Mukund classes offer yogasans to the young generation due to the tremendous benefits it brings to their life, such as 

  • Enhances flexibility, strength, and balance
  • Reduces stress and anxiety to improve overall mental health
  • Boosts focus and concentration

Bal-Mukund follows the principles of Pranayam defined in “Yoga for the Body, Mind & Soul” written by Swami Mukundananda. Bal-Mukund emphasizes practicing Pranayam due to its innumerable favorable effects on the human body.

The Bal-Mukund curriculum follows guided meditation. Children are encouraged to close their eyes and focus their minds on Shree Krishna while engaging in fun kid-friendly activities.

The Bal-Mukund Vedic Literature Book Series is based on the rich Indian cultural heritage and the eternal Vedic scriptures, with the vision of inculcating young people with invaluable spiritual and practical wisdom.

These extraordinary Indian epics and timeless classics are studded with stories of truthfulness, kindness, sacrifice, strength, honesty, perseverance, and charity. More importantly, these ancient epics teach us the true meaning of life and instruct us about our responsibilities and duties as human beings. They fill our hearts with devotion to the Supreme Divine Lord. 

VALUE-BASED EDUCATION

Bal-Mukund focuses on imbibing the highest value system in children to bring triumph in their lives are grouped as “KRIPALU” Values. The Bal-Mukund curriculum includes books with compelling and inspiring stories focusing on values such as kindness, respect, integrity, perseverance, accountability, and others. These are taught to children by encouraging healthy discussions and by participating in intriguing team-building events. 

FESTIVALS CELEBRATION / ARTS & CRAFT

As part of the Bal-Mukund curriculum, we bring cultural awareness and the significance of all Hindu religious festivities and celebrations to keep up the traditions for life. It helps build a sense of pride in our rich cultural heritage from childhood itself. Festivals bring us together, giving us an excellent time to rejoice and develop strong bonds between everyone. To further sweeten the essence of the festival and bring excitement, we engage in fun craft activities such as decorating rangoli, painting Diya, creating flutes, creating Krishna’s crown, etc.  

INDIAN CULTURE & HISTORY

The Indian culture, often labeled as an amalgamation of several various cultures, spans across the Indian subcontinent and has been influenced and shaped by a history that is several thousand years old. With the intent to preserve Indian Heritage and Cultural Values in youths and to help develop a strong understanding of India as a diverse and colorful country, Bal-Mukund classes share knowledge in the following areas –
